Should read "Cassowaries have killed cars" if that picture's anything to go by.

This is very weird. Not unlike some of those signs.
When I checked your posts through Bloglines, this one didn't come up but a new Garfield one did.
Incidentally my favourite sign is the one for a right turn posted where the road clearly turns left.
